Investigating What Happened
After Rachael had been examined in the hospital, she went on to explain to the authorities what had happened to her during those two weeks that she was gone. According to her, she had been knocked out over the head while getting ready for work on the morning of June 23 and then abducted by an older man with a long-beard. She also claimed that he had kept her blindfolded and locked inside a wooden shed in a heavily secluded area, and that he had repeatedly abused her for the two weeks that she was in his captivity.
