Questioning Scott
Although the police said that Scott was not a suspect in the beginning, they knew that they needed to get all the facts clear as well. They decided to question him again about his timeline, to which he kept to his original story. He says that he last saw Laci at home around 9:30 a.m. before he left to go fishing. He then said that he went to a warehouse to send out some emails, before getting his fishing boat to bring to the Berkeley Marina. He then eventually made it back home, after which he ate, showered then called his mother-in-law to ask about Laci, claiming that he thought she had gone there since she wasn’t at home.
