On Trial
Scott went in front of a jury and had a trial that ended on November 12, 2004, with him being charged with first-degree murder of his wife, Laci Peterson, and the second-degree murder of his unborn son, Connor. And although until today, Scott still claims that he is an innocent man sitting behind bars in the Quentin State Prison waiting out his death penalty sentence, the Attorney General says that there is an ‘overwhelming evidence’ of his guilt. And yet Scott is still attempting to overrule his sentencing, even 15 years later.
