Police Search His Home And Car
In the interim, apparently Scott had traded Laci’s 1996 Land Rover in to a used car company for a brand new pick-up truck. And this made authorities even more suspicious, wondering why he would suddenly let go of something so cherished if he truly didn’t harm his wife. Police announced then and there that they believed that Laci was a victim of homicide, and they needed to positively identify her killer. This they also now thoroughly believed was Scott Peterson, but they needed the evidence to back up their assumptions.
