Finally Finding Piette

Finally, in July of 2017, police were finally able to track Piette down and capture him in Mexico. He was brought back to the US to face his charges of ‘first-degree rape, lewd molestation of a child, and physical abuse of a child.’ And one of the best things that come out of his capture are that now Rosalynn and the children no longer have to watch their backs.

Finally Feeling Relief

When asked about how she’s feeling now that Piette has been incarcerated, “Relief is such a small word in comparison to how I feel about the capture of Henri Piette. However, it is the closest I am able to come to describing my overall demeanor at this time.” She continues, “Knowing that the man who physically took 22 years from my life, leaving me with a lifetime of painful challenges, has been captured makes today one of the most pivotal times of my life.”
