Rosalynn Goes Missing

After leaving Piette, Rosalynn and her mom had moved into ‘protective accommodation,’ in an attempt to be safe. But on January 31, 1997, when she was just 12-years old, while in the 6th grade, Piette had abducted Rosalynn after school, taking her away from anyone and everyone she loved.

Taking Her To Mexico

Rosalynn was taken against her will and brought across the border to a rural part of Mexico. When they arrived there, she was supposedly introduced to “Piette’s other children as their new mother.” And so her abuse continued, and worsened even, for the next several years.
