Searching For Their Parents

Time passed, and the children still waited for the parents to come home. The youngest daughter had even recounted that their mom wouldn’t normally go with their dad up the meadow since, most of the time, she was pregnant with one of the many children. According to the youngest daughter, she and her siblings went out to look for their parents at least three times, but never found them. Eventually, they believed that their parent’s disappearance would remain a mystery forever.

It Seemed Like A Lost Cause

It was said that, for months, the children, along with the local villagers, tried to search for the lost couple along the areas that they had gone. But despite the amount of time and effort they put into it, they never found a single clue to their whereabouts. Their youngest daughter Marceline said, “One day, we had to [accept] the obvious. They were never coming back.”
