Where The Bodies Were Found
Bernhard Tschannen, the director of Glacier 3000 ski resort, went up the glacier to the area where the worker saw the bodies. They had called the authorities to check and see if what they had found was really a couple of bodies. It would seem that the melting glacier would soon reveal a mystery that had not been solved in almost a century.
A Closer Look
Tschannen explains what he saw, “The bodies were lying near each other. It was a man and a woman wearing clothing dating from the period of World War Two. They were perfectly preserved in the glacier and their belongings were intact.” Authorities say that they will do DNA tests on the couple to confirm their identities.
