Then 75 Years Later, A Miracle Occurred

Astonishingly, 75 years later, the Tsanfleuron Glacier, which has since been partially transformed into a Ski Resort, had a worker who was walking through the resort. He was around 8,600 feet above the Les Diablerets resort when he noticed something sticking out of the ice. Part of the glacier was melting, which revealed a 75-year-old mystery.

A Mystery Revealed

On July 14, 2017, the worker came upon what looked to be two mummified bodies sticking out of the ice. Not only were there bodies, there were also a few other items nearby, like a backpack, a bottle, and a watch. He decided to head down and explain to his superiors exactly what he had seen.
