The kidnappers soon removed the ladder and before closing the hatchet, they threw a toilet paper down and promised them that they would come back and check on everyone again. Everything went dark after and little did they realize that they were actually buried 12 feet underground. The children were extremely scared by this time and would cry incessantly.
