Something Suspicious

While Abeth had his hands cuffed, he noticed that one of the cops didn’t even frisk him first, which was supposedly part of the routine. And upon closer inspection, the other man looked as if his mustache was made of wax. It became clear to him then that these men weren’t actually police officers. But what was he to do? He was in handcuffs and was basically defenseless.
