The brave and unlucky soul

The men huddled in a circle and try to think of ways to get to the bottom of the mystery they were facing. There was no other choice but to literally stick a head inside the hole to see what was inside, a task everybody was hoping they didn’t need to do. It isn’t clear how they got one of their comrades to look inside, but the brave and unlucky soul who stuck his neck within the bowels of the tree came out of it with a vision that took him by surprise.
