5. Burning Urination
Pain during urination is a sign of severe urinary bacterial infection, a common occurrence in people with kidney stone disease. The increased number of bacteria, caused by the slowing down of the flow of urine, slowly damage the lining of the urinary tract, making it very sensitive. This is why patients experience a painful, burning sensation while urinating, often describing it as being similar to “peeing blades and needles.”
