Making Friends

Hose noticed that Kach was a young, beautiful and vulnerable student. In order to gain her trust, he would often find ways to talk to her while she wasn’t in class. He knew that if he could just get her to see him as a friend, then he would be able to eventually convince her of his sinister plans for her future with him. And for Kach, she believed that he truly cared about her and her problems. She had even said, “For a while, I was convinced that God sent me a guardian angel to protect me from all that has happened.”

Running Away From Home

When Kach was forced to move to McKeesport with her dad, his new wife, and new stepdaughter, she said she always felt like she was left out. She had said that her young life was a very tumultuous one where she was surrounded by “abuse, sexual relationships and rough relationships,” as she explains on her blog. Eventually, her mom, whom she said she originally had a wonderful relationship with, had been sent to a mental institution and her father was given sole custody of Kach. This is when she started to attempt to run away on more than a few occasions.
