Rex Allan Krebs had been out of jail for only a few months when he ended up striking again. He was a convicted sex offender who was jailed for brutally raping two other women. Rachel, whom Rex had taken to his home, had supposedly choked herself to death after Krebs had tied her up and sexually assaulted her. Sadly, she was trying to free herself from her constraints when, according to Krebs, she ended up killing herself in the process.
