They Had Journals

The kids actually kept journals, recording the horrific things that their parents would do to them through the years. Throughout their years of existence, the children were only given one rationed meal per day, while the parents would keep pies and other food nearby to taunt them with. They were only allowed to shower once a year, and they were beaten if they attempted to wash their hands “above the wrist,” also beaten on a regular basis for no reason whatsoever. And sadly, using the bathroom happened basically wherever the kids were shackled, never allowed to be unlocked to use an actual toilet.

Very Cruel Conditions

Aside from the torture, there were toys that lay around the house, which they weren’t allowed to play with, and they had never been opened. Plus the kids were forced to remain awake at night and sleep during the day, all so that they wouldn’t mingle with strangers, or so that while their parents would torture them, the world would be sleeping not knowing the horrors that were going on in what the world came to know as the ‘House of Horrors.’
