A Running Joke

Apparently, this had even become what Teresa would call a ‘running joke’ in their family. She said, “In the family, we always joked that Prince Charming had lived up to his of the bargain. She has this big house and she has all the cars and she didn’t have to work and she had the expensive clothes and purses and anything she wanted, so we thought was the living the high life.”

Moving Around

But for some reason, David would choose to move his family around the country every so often. Although they had been married in West Virginia in 1984, they had first moved to Texas, then eventually to California, never truly staying in one house either for too long.
