Arresting David And Louise

When police caught up with David and Louise, they were arrested and charged for torture, child abuse, even for David ‘performing a lewd act on a child under 14.’ They were also charged with ‘twelve counts of torture, twelve counts of false imprisonment, seven counts of abuse on a dependent adult, and six counts of child abuse.’

During An Early Hearing

Unbelievably, David and Louise would plead not guilty to all the charges brought against them. And yet, District Attorney Hestrin would go on to say, “The abuse was horrific. As a prosecutor, there are some cases that haunt you. Some deal with human depravity, and that’s what we’re dealing with here.” And it would also be said that, “The abuse and severe neglect intensified over time and intensified as they moved to California.”
