That’s what a Brisbane man did when he tried to sell New Zealand on eBay at a starting price of AUD 0.01. Amazingly, the bid price rose up to $3,000 until eBay shut down the auction.

When Ian Usher of the UK went through a difficult divorce, he decided to start over by selling his old life, which included his house, the rest of his belongings, and even his job. Someone grabbed the offer and paid $300,000 for Ian’s life. Usher used the money to buy an abandoned Caribbean island where he is now living happily.
