16. Right to name a baby
Wouldn’t it be nice to name a baby? In August 2009, an unemployed mom in South Arkansas sold the rights to name her yet to be born baby. She was in a desperate situation, being that she’s already taking care of six children. The right to name her baby was sold for $6,800 to a man who said he only wanted to help the woman and that he had no intentions of actually naming the child.
17. Britney Spears’ pregnancy test
In 2005, Britney Spears and her then husband, Kevin Federline, stayed at a Los Angeles hotel where Spears allegedly took a pregnancy test. The device she supposedly used was found in the waste basket of the hotel’s bathroom and was auctioned by the Ottawa radio station Hot 89.9 for $5,001.
