Want some extra cash? Sell ad space, even if it’s part of your body. That’s exactly what web developer Andrew Fischer decided to do in 2005 to earn extra money. He auctioned his forehead as an ad space for a temporary tattoo. Amazingly, a company named SnoreStop did buy Fischer’s forehead for a whopping $37,375.
13. The meaning of life
Have you ever wondered what the meaning of life was? Apparently, someone in North Carolina knew the meaning of “life” and auctioned off their “wisdom” on eBay in February 2000. In his listing, the seller said, “I have discovered the reason for existence, and will be happy to share this information with the highest bidder.” But it turned out that the “meaning of life” didn’t amount too much because it was only sold for $3.26.
