Because it had 15 years of experience in illegal fishing, one can only surmise the amount of money this Nigerial vessel made. The pirate ship operated under the tutelage of its captain, Alfonso R. Cataldo, man from Chile. However, the Thunder’s true ownership remains to be a mystery as the papers came from cover companies from Nigeria, Seychelles, and Panama.
