Klaus alerted the authorities of the find. He contacted experts in World War II history, as well as the Danish authorities to conduct further investigations on the discovery. Since then, the site had been closed for investigation by the North Jutland Police.

Could still be dangerous

Cameras were rolling during the excavation of the plane and what remained of the pilot and other stuff found in the surrounding area. Explosives experts were also called in to help safely remove the plane’s ammunition that could still be dangerous.
