O.J. Simpson

Former running back, broadcaster and actor Orenthal James “O.J.” Simpson was talented American football player who played in the NFL for 11 seasons. A College and Pro Football Hall-of-Famer, The Juice is the only player to rush for over 2,000 yards in a season.

In 1994, Simpson was arrested for the bloody murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ron Goldman, after a dramatic high-speed chase that was caught on live television. Following a highly publicized courtroom battle, he was found not guilty of the crime but was ordered to pay the families of the victims $33.5 million as remuneration for their wrongful deaths.

O.J. Simpson is also a convicted felon, having been arrested and convicted for armed robbery and kidnapping in Las Vegas in 2007. After serving 10 years in a federal penitentiary, the former NFL star was granted parole on July 20, 2017 and was released almost 3 months later
