Getting Krebs To Confess 

Zaragoza requested the help of 30-year law enforcement veteran Larry Hobson. He knew that if there was anybody that could get Krebs to make a confession, it was Hobson. Hobson took some time getting Krebs to trust him, bringing him out of the jail a few times, allowing him to talk and just “shoot the breeze” as he describes it. He would get Krebs to answer “scenarios,” pretending that he was asking about other cases. Eventually, he caught Krebs in his own fabrication.

The Truth Comes Out

Hobson was able to get Krebs to admit that he had kidnapped, raped and killed both Aundria and Rachel. While Krebs was being held on his parole violation, they found the missing jump seat of his truck tucked away in the back of his property. On the seat were splatters of blood, which they positively identified as the blood of Rachel Newhouse.
