Everyone Looking For Answers

After a few weeks of not being able to find Aundria, the authorities were scrambling to find answers. David Zaragoza, who was Krebs’s parole officer at the time, decided to move on a hunch. He had heard of both stories of the two missing college students, and he started to wonder if Krebs could be responsible. Given the details of Krebs’s past, he knew that there was a large possibility that he knew something about the girls’ disappearance.

David Zaragoza had been Krebs’s parole officer after he was released from jail. He had visited him 24 times in the year that Krebs had been released from jail, both at home and at his place of work. Krebs worked at a lumberyard called 84 Lumbar located in San Luis Obispo. Although he didn’t know it for certain at the time, Zaragoza had a strong inkling that Krebs had to know something about the cases of the two missing girls. Since he had no proof, Zaragoza knew he needed to arrest Krebs to bring him in for questioning. So that’s exactly what he did. Zaragoza was able to arrest him for violating his parole terms, knowing Krebs had a BB gun in his car.
