Krebs was now being held indefinitely in the San Luis Obispo County Jail for violating his parole. Zaragoza and the Sexual Predator Apprehension Team went to Krebs’s residence and began to search his home for any clues that they could find about both Aundria and Rachel. Not only did they find a prison-made jewelry box, inside it, was an 8-ball keychain. Exactly like the one missing from Aundria’s keychain to her Mustang.

Pivotal Evidence

When police had been searching for clues in Aundria’s apartment, it was said that her car was there, but her 8-ball keychain was missing. When Zaragoza discovered it, the SPAT had said, “Wow, we’re looking for an 8-ball keychain.” Apparently, most serial rapists take tokens of their victims to help them “keep it fresh” in their minds. It seems that Zaragoza’s instinct was right.
