This was her way of honoring the wonderful girl they all lost almost five decades before. Then, they presented her with the things they collected from Wendy’s car, most of them old with age. Nonetheless, she and her family remain eternally grateful for the hard work the authorities put in. It may have taken them a long time to solve the murder, but the closure they craved for was finally given to them. They will forever miss Wendy and could only hope that she’s up there smiling because her family finally got the justice they deserved.
