Everybody In the Clear

While Wendy’s boyfriend failed the polygraph test, the results were still inconclusive. So, the case went stagnant. Days turned to weeks, weeks to months, and months to years. There was nothing anybody could do. And so, the case went cold. This was one of the hundreds that got buried in the files that the cops forgot in the years that followed.

Only Real Clue

Decades had passed and the investigators only had one real clue on them: a white man was seen at the store near her murder, and this same white man was also seen at the gas station. This was definitely better than having nothing, but then again, it wasn’t much help either. Three decades later, the LAPD decided to revisit cold cases, one of which was Wendy’s.
