A Quick Drive

Wendy had seen an ad on the Sunday paper about a hairdryer sale at Thrifty. She wanted that and she asked her sister, Linda, to tag along while she makes the purchase. Unfortunately, couldn’t make it. So, Wendy decided to go on her own. Little did each of them know that if only they were together, then the worst might not have happened.

The Waiting Game

Since Linda couldn’t go with Wendy to Thrifty, she stayed home with her own family and waited for word from her sister. But then, the call never came. Her parents didn’t get a call either. Now, they were worried. Wendy would always tell them where she was and if she would ever be late. It was so unlike her to do something like this.
