Calling for Help

The concerned family decided to call the police, but they were told that it was too soon to file a missing persons report. Since they wanted to find Wendy, they decided upon themselves to look for her on their own. By this time, Linda was already regretting her decision not to go. If something happened to her sister, would it have made a difference if she were there? She would soon know the answer, but not until she’s searched high and low.

Getting Help

At that time, Wendy’s brother-in-law and Linda’s husband, Gil Kort, was a private investigator. He wanted to help as well and organized a search to help his wife’s family. He gathered a group of friends for the task and even managed to get a helicopter to scour over the entire city. Of course, Wendy’s boyfriend joined the hunt as well. They were all desperate.
