Craigslist Ad

So in order to fulfill this dream, Bud decided to look for one. On January 19, 2015, the elderly couple put out an ad on Craigslist explaining their interest in buying a 1966 Ford Mustang. They wanted one just like the one he had before. Bud had written in the ad, “Prefer red with black interior and top. 289 V8 with an automatic [transmission].”

Receiving An Answer

Almost as quickly as they put out the ad, someone had answered, saying that he was selling the exact car they were looking for. The seller was from a quaint farming area in the south of Georgia, near the Ocmulgee River in Jacksonville. So on January 22, only 3 days after putting out the ad, Bud and June went to meet the possible seller, looking forward to the prospect of once again owning their dream car.
