Forging A Check

Apparently, after their mom had passed, Sarah had used Stevie’s name to forge a check to collect an inheritance amounting to $5,609. It was even reported that Stevie had found out about it, but being the kind and restrained individual that she was, she didn’t even bother to make a big deal out the event. The two would even continue to live together in their mother’s house until Sarah ended up killing her and taking over her identity.

Was It All About Money?

The lawyer who handled the estate case after the mother’s passing, Peter Quittman, had shared that “Stevie and Sarah seemed to get along fine, but there was a real difference between them. Stevie was very kind and nice, and Sarah was, well, more businesslike.” And in the end, the home ended up with Stevie as the ‘executor and owner of the house,’ which he explained was “routine, except for some tension in the family that I could never quite figure out.”
