Where Was The Other Sister, Sarah Mitchell?

When tips began to come in from not only the siblings but the neighbors as well, saying that the other sister had been living with her for over 20 years, detectives began to wonder where this Sarah Mitchell was too. They also began to wonder how come Stevie didn’t even say anything about her younger sister, especially after the fire had occurred? Due to this, they knew that something was definitely off.

Acquiring A Warrant

Police knew they were dealing with something much more ominous than they originally thought. When Stevie’s other siblings filed a missing person’s report on July 7, 6 days after the fire, they started to wonder who was really telling the truth. The investigators decided to acquire a warrant to be able to enter the premises of the Allman house in order to search what was left after the fire.
