Despite Everything

When Sarah was found guilty of forgery, stealing her sister’s identity and killing her, she was convicted to life in jail without parole, despite prosecution originally wanting the death penalty for her. During her trial, her aunt, Milisse Wells, had told the jury, “I still can’t believe it, but I know she did it. I know you found her guilty, but I don’t want her to die.”

Stevie Is Laid To Rest

After everything, Stevie Viola Allman was laid at her final resting place. Despite the painful and practically unforgivable circumstances, one of their sisters’ shared, “We all forgive each other. We all love each other.” And if not for anything but for Sarah’s sake, she has to know how astonishing that forgiveness must be. We can only hope that she feels some sort of guilt for her heinous crimes.
