The Beautiful Façade

Although Missouri is known for it’s harsh winters, it’s also beautiful in all it’s other seasons. It’s no wonder that Richard wanted to spend the remainder of his days hanging out in all of it’s charm and wonder, in the comforts a home that he created with very own hands, and of course, with the love and helpfulness of his family and neighbors.

Living The Dream

Now that Richard is pretty much retired, he can now remain in his dream home, sitting on his rocking chair with a fire in the hearth, smoking his pipe. And while he is a doctor, holds two PhD’s, wrote a book and is a brilliant mathematician, nothing makes him happier than to sit around his cabin, enjoying the rest of his time in a place that he built in labor and love. Although there are lots of renovated wood cabins, not many have as much history as Richard Aiken’s cabin. And that’s something else that he can add to his list of amazing accomplishments.
