The Town Was Terrorized

The people of Northport, New York were terrorized and frightened after hearing about the ghastly death of 17-year old Gary Lauwers. They couldn’t believe that someone would so mercilessly take his life like that, and soon it was being blamed on heavy metal, drugs that cause these kids to get highly influenced into seeking Satanic idolization. Also partly because Ricky had been wearing an AC/DC t-shirt during his arrest, and because he loved rock n’ roll music like Ozzy Osbourne and Judas Priest, as well as because of his alleged Satan worshipping.

Tattling On His Best Friend

After the teenagers’ arrests, without a second thought, Jimmy would end up telling on his best friend. He told the police that all four of them had been high on what they had originally believed was mescaline but was most probably angel dust, which is otherwise known as PCP. But whatever drug it was, it was enough to turn Ricky into a psychotic and ruthless murderer.
