He Was On The Football Team

Considering that both his parents worked on the same campus Ricky attended, Cold Spring Harbor High School, Ricky was said to be on his way up the high school athletic ranks. At just 12-years old, he was a dedicated athlete, said to get up incredibly early to get to practice so he could hopefully become like many other high school athletes, earning scholarships and living out most young boys’ dreams. But like many other kids in small suburban towns where football was everyone’s obsession and every one knew every one, Ricky’s young life would take an unexpected turn.

Trying Drugs For The First Time

By the time Ricky turned 17, his adolescent life was going down the wrong path, and at incredible speed. He began to dabble in drugs like marijuana, hash, PCP, LSD and another drug known as mescaline. Many were hallucinogenic forms of illicit drugs, and Ricky would enjoy them way too much. He was no longer the young, happy, athletic teen that his parents and friends had come to know. He was a different Ricky, only caring about when and where his next high would come from.
