The Claire Project

These days, Stephen Drury is making sure that something positive will come out of his daughter’s death. He has made it his life goal to ‘ensure no other parents have to go through what he has.’ He put up ‘The Claire Project,’ whose mission is to “Research the social impact on misuse of drugs in the UK and looking at ways of removing the control of illegal drugs from the hands of criminals and their organisations.”

Not Just Another Statistic

Stephen Drury wants to make sure that Claire’s life didn’t end for nothing. He explained, “But what motivates me now is that I don’t want Claire to become just another statistic.” And even more amazing than that is Stephen is petitioning to see the man who killed his daughter. He shared, “I see Stephen Perrett as a victim and that’s why I want to go along and meet him. I want to help him and I want to help other people avoid taking the same road he and Claire took. They’re both victims of drugs culture.” And we can only hope that his foundation will truly make a difference.
