Authorities decided to drive to Davis’s property to get a written statement from him. It was located in a semi-secluded village called Woodham Walter, which was near Maldon. Arriving in the area, they couldn’t find a home under the name of Davis. In fact, one of the neighbors shared that their neighbor’s name was Platt, not Davis. This made the authorities highly suspicious.

Searching For Platt And Finding A Fugitive Instead

Noting how strange this was, police decided to take their time and investigate the supposed Davis and his family. The neighbor had even told authorities that their neighbor, Platt, owned a yacht in Devon, which made things much more fishy. Once they were sure he wasn’t who he said he was, the police made their move and arrested Walker on Halloween day in a raid at his house.
