Even His Daughter Testified Against Him

According to the daughter, Sheena, she was ‘hypnotized’ by her father and forced to pretend that she was his wife. Although she testified against him, she also says that she had no idea where he put all the money he had stolen. She shares, “I don’t know anything about it. He didn’t confide in me, he manipulated me and lied to me just like everybody else.”

He Was A Clever Man

During the time of the investigation, the lead detective in the case was Superintendent Phil Sincock. According to him, “For six years he had managed to evade capture and he was no fool. He was very clever and was probably the most accomplished conman and a persuasive person I have ever met, but at the same time it must be remembered that it was also a calculated and premeditated murder.”
