Calling The Hockey Club

Whether it was pure bravado or mostly madness, Attila decided to call the hockey club in an attempt to get hired on the UTE team. They had just gotten their 7th national championship, which they won in an amazing sweep within the last 7 years too. And yet, without a name or a referral in the hockey business, he was able to get a try out with the coach and team.

Although over the phone he was able to convince the team of his prowess, on the ice, it went so horribly wrong that the players went out of their way to actually break his nose with the hockey puck. George Pek was the captain of the team then, and he shared, “We thought it was amazing that someone wanted to be a part of our team so badly even though they’d obviously had nothing to do with hockey in their life.”
