He Became A Journalist

After getting released from jail, Tim would go on to become a journalist. He would even end up receiving awards for his work as ‘a feature writer.’ Tim even shared, “I became her [Peggy’s] trophy son and she asked me to tell her brothers and sister about the celebrities I had interviewed.” And yet, she still had one thing she felt he needed to do with his life, find his father.

Still Insisting He Look Up His Father

Tim would share that eventually, he realized why his mom was so insistent on him finding his biological father. She wanted the man who barely acknowledged his illegitimate son, the same son whom he never bothered to support, to know that she had raised an amazing man. Tim explained, “She wanted to present me to my doctor father and say: ‘This is what I have made of your son.’ She wanted me to be a credit to her parenting skills.”
