Suggesting She Adopt Him

Peggy found it harder and harder to bring Tim back to St. Joseph’s as the weekends would end. Then the answer to her prayers would finally come when her very own brother suggested that she adopt the little black baby. He even told her, “It’ll help make up for the son you lost.” Little did he know, this was going to be exactly what she had dreamed of for so long. Finally, she was able to bring baby Tim home for good.

Growing Up Clueless

For years, Peggy harbored the secret that Tim was actually her baby. Nobody questioned his background or why Peggy was so attached to him. For over 19 years, Tim grew up amongst his blood brothers and other relatives, believing that he had just caught a lucky break. But this didn’t mean that things were easy for him. He was the only black kid for miles around, and he got teased and taunted a lot.
