Deciding to head out with her friends for a night on the town, Peggy attended a dance in Central Belfast. While she was there, a 6’3” West African black man approached the group, asking if anyone would like to dance. One of Peggy’s friends actually told him, “I’m not dancing with a nigger,’ leaving Peggy horrified that she would actually say that.

Asking Him To Dance

Peggy decided to ask the man to dance during ‘Ladies’ Choice,’ and she found out that his name was Michael Ekue and he was a doctor from Ghana. The two hit it off automatically, and thus began their lurid affair. Within a few weeks, Peggy would find herself pregnant, not just with a child that was not her husband’s, but a child that when born, would come out half black.
