He Was Adopted By His Birth Mother, But No One Actually Knew That He Was Truly Hers.

Finally Looking For His Biological Father

In 2006, Tim would finally search for his father just as he had promised his mom. Peggy had passed away two years before, and Tim wanted to stay true to his word. BBC Radio 4 wanted to tell Tim’s life story, but they wanted him to track down his dad for the story. He eventually found him, and the two men ended up meeting up in Ghana. He would find that his father was indeed an ‘impressive man.’ He was a doctor who worked with the UN, attempting to find a cure for malaria. But that was as far as his respect would go. His dad, Michael Euke, had bragged about putting all his children in private school, all, except for Tim. Apparently, Peggy had asked him to pay for Tim’s education, and he refused. And while his other children knew of Tim’s existence, he never had the guts to tell his wife.

He Wrote A Book

Tim would go on to write a book entitled ‘Where Are You Really From?’ which was published in 2010. His very first line read, “I was born on Tuesday 10 May 1966. I died the same day.” And his story is a tale of pain, suffering, incredible sadness yet incredible perseverance, and most importantly, a mother’s love. It has gone on to reach so many and will soon be made into a movie.
