10. Pain in the Jaw

Female patients who have suffered heart attacks remember feeling discomfort or pain in their jaw area, months before the attack. They claim that the pain gradually intensified and reached its most painful during the actual event. It is often accompanied with shortness of breath, fatigue and arm issues, and since most of them think that heart attack pains happen within the chest area, it is often ignored.

Patients have described the pain they experienced it as a heavy, thick feeling on the jaw, similar to what their mouth feels after a visit to the dentist and the anesthesia hasn’t worn off completely.
