14. Stomach Pain
The pain one experiences during a heart attack isn’t limited to the chest area as most people believe. Women, for example, complain of a burning pain located in the upper middle portion of their abdomen, more commonly associated with peptic ulcer disease, gastritis, or Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). Some women also report a heavy pressure on their tummy area, describing the feeling to be similar to having an elephant sit on your stomach.
