11. Chest Heaviness
Women expect that the pain felt when having a heart attack should be extreme, sharp and very noticeable sensation. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case.
Female heart attack patients have described the sensation differently, with some describing it as a tingling sensation as if electricity was travelling outward from their chests. Most patients feel a slight pressure instead of a sharp pain. Others feel a dullness on the left side of their chest, even thinking that the numbness was coming from their breast.
