Three Others Being Dragged To Shore

The other survivors were Joe Stiley, Priscilla Tirado and Nikki Felch. As the three would be dragged with the two ropes to shore, both Felch and Tirado lost the rope on the way. But while Felch still managed to get to shore, Tirado was so incredibly tired and weak that she would have drowned alongside the rest of the victims.

Lenny Skutnik, Another Bystander Turned Hero

Lucky for her, a young man by the name of Lenny Skutnik decided to boldly remove his jacket and boots, and jump into the water. Astonishingly, he was able get Tirado to shore, saving her life. He would later on say, “Somebody had to help that woman.” But after that, it would leave one last victim. It was Williams, the same man who had been attempting to help save other people’s lives before his own.
